Why kids need a digital camera to help them take selfies and share pictures with friends and family

By taking photos, playing with their toys, and sharing their experiences with friends online, kids are opening up new possibilities for their online lives.

But it’s not always easy to get their hands on one of these devices, let alone get one in the first place.

A new report from the Pew Research Center suggests that even though kids use smartphones for everything from accessing social media to watching movies, they may need a camera in their lives to capture those moments, too.

Kids today are using more digital devices than ever before, according to the report, but most of them don’t have the camera or the budget to own one.

And even if they do, they’re using it at a younger age, often for activities like taking selfies, sharing videos and pictures, or browsing online.
