Walmart has revealed it will begin rolling out the Walmart Cameras Stabilizer, a software update designed to improve image quality on its cameras and video units.
The camera stabilizers are designed to boost the image quality of the Walmart brand cameras and videos in the United States.
The stabilizers will be rolled out to all Walmart stores and retail stores that currently have Walmart branded cameras and are connected to a Walmart store.
“This update is a major milestone for our portfolio of products and will further strengthen the image that we have built over the past several years,” Walmart CEO Doug McMillon said in a statement.
Walmart has said it plans to roll out stabilizer software to its camera equipment by the end of the year.
Walmart is one of the largest U.S. retailers, and the company is widely seen as a leader in the U.K. and Europe, but it is also known for its relatively low-end products, such as the Walmart Fresh groceries and the Walmart grocery delivery service.
